Weight And Trials

Hey there,

I was wondering if weight has any major impact on trials. Does it prevent progression or prevent skills from improving?

I sort of know a fantastic rider (dont know his name but everyone calls him Bigman) who is pretty beefy but that doesn't seem to how stopped him from becoming a great rider, and smooth too! Which I know alot of lighter rides aren't!!!

I'm about 12 and 1/2 stone and I dont know if I could improve if I was lighter.

any help????

cheers

rob

It depends. Bigman's a tall lad so his weight is spread out over a large diameter, so thats why he's got so much power in riding.

If he was shorter, like 5ft 6-7 for, he wouldn't even be able ride trials imo.

But no. I don't think it affects your ridiing. I just suppose been a bigger built lad your powerful

Danny.
