Neil
I have ridden competively at upto national level in motorbike trials in the past and bike trials for fun. What similarities and differences do you perceive between the two disciplines?

Sam Oliver
I have ridden competively at upto national level in motorbike trials in the past and bike trials for fun. What similarities and differences do you perceive between the two disciplines?Very similar characteristics, Obvious differences are Clutch & throttle for pedals. But the main difference with a Bike is a rigid frame for which you use your body to gain height etc, on a Motobike you compress suspension with clutch & power. MadManMike
Apart from trying to achieve the same goal, the technique must be totally different?I've never done mototrials so I don't know - I'd assume it's totally different to bike trials though. CRANK BRO
ive always rode motocross were you just sit there and thrash it out and try to find the best line, ive never done normal moto trials 2 of my friends ride gasgas and love them but donot like bike trials which i cannot get my head around,i think that the bike trials is much more fun and down to more control has you donot have the Clutch & throttle to help you, anyway what would i no ive only rode the gasgas for 5mins great fun
