If the seals aren't up to the job of keep it in (because it's more viscous (can squeeze between the seals easier)) then I'm pretty sure it'll evaporate and induce air into the system. Everyone know's what it's like to have air in your brakes.might be a valid point, but you could risk it trying to expand within the brake, either due to heat from use or heat from the atmosphere, which could have results like gas pockets or bursting. Muel Posted January 24, 2008 Report Share Posted January 24, 2008 I'm going to swap the spring in the lever for a softer one, I assume this is how they work, like a hope but with the piston in a different place.Would a hope spring fit?
