mat hudson
thankyou for that informative statement. what setup are you running? have you got even tension on the arms, are the pads aligned correctly, is your rim clean?

Revolver
I did, but I thought I could get it to work.Lol, this turned out to be a useless thread , apologies for that.
PaRtZ
I did, but I thought I could get it to work.Lol, this turned out to be a useless thread , apologies for that.yepbut seriously try pad alignment, and make sure the caliper is tightened properly, and theres no give in the nuts + bolts or anything at all
Revolver
The pads go flat against the rim.
Matthew_Gibson
Could be pads, File them down so its a new surface. Get somne new pads, soft ones will be better on a smooth rim. Set the brake up correct. And also Post it the correct forum!!
Alec
When I started riding bmx I wanted my brake to work as good as my trials bike. Stick with the crap brake, eventually you'll see you don't need plaz pads! Just takes a bit of getting used to.
Mark W
Grease up the brake posts and use as little spring tension as possible. That's usually the best way to get a brake to work well, but if you're shitty pads and/or a shitty brake, on a non-chrome rim, you're pretty much in the shit. Revolver
but if you're shitty pads and/or a shitty brake, on a non-chrome rim, you're pretty much in the shit.that's exactly it. Mark W
Although I have one of the dropped stay frames, chances are that unless by "bike shop" you mean "my bedroom when I was fixing my BMX", you didn't speak to me anywhere other than here today
Revolver
weren't you then lolthere's only supposed to be 3 of those frames, i think
