Ipod

Right, I had my iPod for Christmas last year, about 6 months in the headphone jack broke and I got a new one. About 7 months on from that the iPod has done the same thing, I think. Last time my headphones just stopped working, tried them on my Dads iPod and they worked fine, took it back to the shop they confirmed it was the jack. This time only one side of the headphones has stopped working, tried the normal white ones as well and it still didn't work. What I'm wondering is if I can get a new one or a money back after having on already? Also would a new iPod extend the warranty? My iPod is the 30gb Video and my headphones are Bose In-Ear ones.

If it's done the same as last time, could it be possible that the Bose headphone jack isn't fitting correctly into the ipod? They're not exactly mated products, so having the same thing happen twice is abit iffy.

First time I was using the standard apple headphones though. But the thing is my dad has a pair on his iPod nano and he's been using them for well over a year.. Maybe it's got something to do with when I ride the jack on the Headphones is quite a big one so it probably gets knocked or something..
