esfrost
Yeah, that 8kg sounds a bit too much or a bit to light , show us a scale picture....
liam-pantera
hmm maybe my scales were out then , but i will take it to work and measure it with super acurate scales

liam-pantera
quite a few of the modifications you mentioned " jonny mc " i will be doing , my headset is shot so it will be replaced with a metta headset which is the lightist you can buy , my stem i might replace but not my bars yet . as for the wheels this is my ideal setup as i hate front freewheel , cranks are also on the cards and im thinking titanium avid levers and arms

JonMack
It's nice but NO WAY is that 8kg. The spec isnt anything special, and even Muels which is all Ti parts only weighs 9.1kg.

Muel
It's nice but NO WAY is that 8kg. The spec isnt anything special, and even Muels which is all Ti parts only weighs 9.1kg.9.3 actually.I know I can save 500gees easily though. New 08 frame, Try-All bb, then I can start going daft and Tarty Adam-ise the frame. My frame weighs 100g more than the 08 disc, my mount weighs 215g, the bb swap will save 100g.So I think loosing half a kilo is possible, but my bike is so sexy to ride as it is, I can't be arsed to change anything.
