liam-pantera
there is absoloutely no point in owning that bike , for a start the due nature of trials means thats its going to get scratched to ribbons and get nice big dints no matter how good you are . i admit it does look impressive but i would never pay that mutch for a frame thats is goign to get cross threaded dented and generaly abused . mairomaster
Too much money for so little weight difference. But it's perfect for competitions.
Ash-Kennard
if i had the money, i so would, literally cycling perfection.vincent took 4 years making this, kopxx had to wait for the technology to catch up to finish it

JoNnY__Mc
If I rode comps, and I wanted the best frame on the market then YES.If I rode street and wanted it to last more than 6 months then NO.

Greetings
what about the DOB magnesium frame? thats a 26" frame..Yeah, and it's apparently crap. The price is not that bad, I've seen these retail for 1200 in other shops. It's still overpriced but that's about the most special production frame money can buy.
Muel
Yeh it's over priced, but if your a top level rider, you need a top level bike!Or you may just be a shit rider, and enjoy planning upgrades more than actually riding. Phil H
What cretin thought it would be a good idea to put the 'sticking out' pointy bit on the top.Ruins the whole look and as far as I can tell has no structual value.Phil
sapu
with 850 quit im opening my own brand..)..its to much money..lets be serious its aluminiium not plutonium, strontonium, uranim(probaly 1,7 kg of uranium is cheapar)...and for the technology part its just another frame with cnc parts... a deng frame probely has more cnc and its its not 850 quid Edited January 17, 2008 by sapu
Ash-Kennard
cncing isn't all that, the hyrdoforiming used is the impressive part, along with the literally perfect geomety
N.Wood
cncing isn't all that, the hyrdoforiming used is the impressive part, along with the literally perfect geometyYou recon?I'd say the bb was 15-20mm too high. I like the way they put '1092' and '54' mm rather than 1090 and 55mm.
basher
Way over priced for what it is really, yeah its a great comp frame but. Hydroforming is just a gimic to sell it as its been round for ages and used on many frames, just that they dont boast about it. To be honest i cant see why it took them 4years unless it was put back and back because it wasnt top priority theres nothing ground brakeing in the frame so why 4 years just sounds like they was lazy and vince couldnt make his mind up on stuff probs. And bb is to high.
craigjames
how is any more over priced than the intense socom ive got, it retails for nearly 2k for the frame and shock. its the technology, the r and d and the exclusivity; as well the quality that makes it worth the money. nobody really questions the price of intense frame so why should this be any different......... Tomy P
Also kind of off-topic but I wonder what kind of frame Deng could produce for that sum of money!
JonMack
sounds like they was lazy and vince couldnt make his mind up on stuff probs. And bb is to high.He probably couldnt decide on the geo which he felt was perfect for him. It's a frame for him to ride, you might think the BB is too high, but you're not riding and winning (or at least placing in) comps all over the world, are you? Jamie_Neal
I like the way they put '1092' and '54' mm rather than 1090 and 55mm.As long as you use the same headset and forks. Also, how come it is sooo expensive because it is hydroformed. Scott have been using hydroforming for a few years now and you can get complete bikes for less than the cost of the Boxx.Nice frame though. Also kind of off-topic but I wonder what kind of frame Deng could produce for that sum of money! Two frames? Scott have been using hydroforming for a few years now and you can get complete bikes for less than the cost of the Boxx.Probably the amount of tweaking Vince made them do on it until it was perfect, the one at koxx days last year was so light it was unbelievably. I really can't see it lasting that long though... But looks very nice to ride
