Matthew_Gibson
Basically after putting one or two albums on to my iPod before it just froze when I came to turn it on! Tried the Play and centre holding trick but nothing. Tried plugging it into my PC and nothing! anything else I can try? Or just wait till the battery runs down and charge it up again? Thanks Matt! Dan Campbell
iirc the standard iPod reset is Menu and the Center button.possibly changed on the newer ones I guess, worth a go though. Also in iTunes there should be an option to reset the iPod Edited January 17, 2008 by Dan Campbell

nc7r
Do the following:Connect the iPod to a power sourceHold menu and select button for 6-8 secondsScreen should go blank, then release and Apple logo should appearIf it does, mount it in iTunes, select the ipod and click 'restore'If it doesn't do anything, leave it plugged in for 2 hours charging to a powered USB port or wall plug and try the aboveFailing that, take it to Apple and get a replacement.
