Ben Swales
If you can tell me what this is from, i'll be impressed...Not spoken by coogan, but written by him, and said whilst he is in the scene..."can you tell me where the baked beans are oh stout yomen of the bean, i seek not the human bean, but the bake-ed bean, bring forth si'd-tibidge that i may scoff my socks off, oooo i love a bean!!"Coogan's run - the quizzers. On Coogan live: It was excellent! I'd never seen him being so theatrical - with the songs and everything, it was quite different to anything on DVD (or in the case of most of the Coogan stuff I own, VHS).Highlights for me were Paul and Pauline Calf, and when he shot JFK by accident - f*cking gold! mr ailsbury
Watched "I'm Alan Partridge" for the last 2 nights to see what all the fuss is about, and I really don't see why people think its funny at all it's shite
anzo
Depends on your comedy tastes I suppose and how you see it. I have tried on a few occasions to show it to a mate, but they just don't get any of it.It's like The Office and things that aren't 'intended' to be funny, but they just are. I have friends who don't like The Office or anything to do with Ricky Gervais, but I love him.But ideally you should start from Series 1 (obviously) and even try watching 'Knowing Me, Knowing You' as 'I'm Alan Partridge' is sort of the spin off of him trying to get his old show back.
