steve@banbury-trials
hi,i got a xbox 360 wich is connected to my laptop by the ethernet cable.on my laptop i have some videos that i've downloaded, but i cant get the xbox to play all of them,it will play wmv file but wont play mpg, mpegs etc .i imagine this is due to compatibility issues.so my question is,how can i change the video format to make it compatible to work with my xbox?or can i download something to allow the xbox to play different media type?cheers, steve

Smo™
If ICS is on (Internet Connection Sharing) then you should, yes. Edited January 17, 2008 by Smo™
Tomm
You'll need to 'bridge connections' and it'll most likely be quite a faff. Try it though, sometimes things Just Work™, other times it's a total b*****d.

James Quigley
Similar Problem. My 360 can only find my brothers PC and not mine. My networks running fine and we can all access each others stuff from the computers. But the 360 will only find my brothers. What can it be? All the ports needed are open etc.......Technology sucks
Haz
You turned on Media Sharing in Windows Media Player?
James Quigley
You turned on Media Sharing in Windows Media Player?yeah. If I'd have missed that step I'd be an idiot. (the 360 showed up in media player though, which just adds to my confusion)
