I used to get pinch flats all the time when i fist started out but now i run my front tyre so flat i can nearly press my thumbs into the rim. Rear is usually quite soft as its nice and bouncy but i will pump it up alittle if am doing a decent sized drop or something. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
1000011 Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 Hello.I personally don't actually run a pressure from the gauge (not just because I dropped my pump and snapped the guage off in the result of it being replaced with a screw, shortly after) I just pump it until it feels too much. Then take the pump off of the valve, loosing half the air.I do a couple of hops. Let a bit out if it feels weird.
