I have never ridden a TI, I have ridden a PR and it was shite. It was very flexy, the geo was horrid and it cracked within 6 months of him buying it.

My bike is made of mainly Monty parts, but it has an Echo frame and carbon fibre Pace forks.

Thats odd  because i have a Pr and its fine and i havent cracked or dented it once. I've had it since September 2006 and its still going strong.

I hope you continue to enjoy it!

I know that many people love them, so it's probably me that's wrong.

Ok ive ridden and owned a fair few bloddy montys.....

the pr is a fantastic frame for its cost .......ok ok it will most deffo crack snap before a deng frame but thats due to a deng frame having thicker tubes.

monty pr and the ti 04 upwards to 07 are also fantastic frames light weight nice geo( they are not for bashers )

they are for the comp riders who are smooth as a babys arse.

ive had a coupple of ti's all lasted me a year +.....

as for the kamel.....geo wise it seems ok if not better than older montys.....stand over is also improved...i cannot say its an amazing bike as ive not ridden one yet but my old teacher/trainer does infact ride one and has told me he has had zero problems with it...

he also said its lighter than the older monty frames......he loves it :)

and if a 5 time spanish champion loves it that much it must be half decent.

Well i think montys are amazing bike speacially for natural

But i agree that they are not as solid as other bikes and the new monty is called camel because of the lump Which supposely will make it stronger.

Hope what they say is right and i cant wait to try one out and maybe get a frame

Any one know if that will be possible or how long will we have to wait if not ?

Cheers

I think the monty KAMEL looks really nice actually, which is surprising because everyone else i know hates it. Just looks crazy, and people would look at you if you had one!! :P

Also, what is the geo like on them, are they long or just like normal montys, short.??

thanks

Aparently the geo is meant to be longer than the other monty's(Y)

As for people hating montys? pfft try riding a TI. honestly they ride so well. i've only ever heard good reports about them. And as for the whole "they are sh*t for" thing? they cant be that sh*t if monty have won over 20 world titles?

Every Ti I have rode has felt amazing, despite the cracked frames.

The Kamel, in my opinion looks amazing. At first, I disliked it, It keeps getting nicer and nicer each time I look at it.

Also, I absolutely love the way the frame slopes into the head tube. It looks like the head tube is strengthened by the long tube I can never remember the name of. :P
