TrAsHeR
They are poo.Well, the PRs are anyway, my mate had one, I hated it. The geo was fairly horrid but it flexed so much. They are one of the best bikes and to say that di you already have a good monty ?
Muel
I have never ridden a TI, I have ridden a PR and it was shite. It was very flexy, the geo was horrid and it cracked within 6 months of him buying it.My bike is made of mainly Monty parts, but it has an Echo frame and carbon fibre Pace forks. I've had it since September 2006 and its still going strong. Cheers Hendy

Dave Anscombe
Ok ive ridden and owned a fair few bloddy montys.....the pr is a fantastic frame for its cost .......ok ok it will most deffo crack snap before a deng frame but thats due to a deng frame having thicker tubes.monty pr and the ti 04 upwards to 07 are also fantastic frames light weight nice geo( they are not for bashers )they are for the comp riders who are smooth as a babys arse.ive had a coupple of ti's all lasted me a year +.....as for the kamel.....geo wise it seems ok if not better than older montys.....stand over is also improved...i cannot say its an amazing bike as ive not ridden one yet but my old teacher/trainer does infact ride one and has told me he has had zero problems with it...he also said its lighter than the older monty frames......he loves it and if a 5 time spanish champion loves it that much it must be half decent.dave x
TrAsHeR
Well i think montys are amazing bike speacially for naturalBut i agree that they are not as solid as other bikes and the new monty is called camel because of the lump Which supposely will make it stronger.Hope what they say is right and i cant wait to try one out and maybe get a frameAny one know if that will be possible or how long will we have to wait if not ?Cheers
Muel
I'd love to try out a TI, Tarty Adam really rated his over his PR.My rear Hope TI brake should be arriving tommorrow! Then my bike will be ready for the YMSA comps.

Also, what is the geo like on them, are they long or just like normal montys, short.??thanksrob Edited January 17, 2008 by echo_rob

And as for the whole "they are sh*t for" thing? they cant be that sh*t if monty have won over 20 world titles? 1000011
Every Ti I have rode has felt amazing, despite the cracked frames. The Kamel, in my opinion looks amazing. At first, I disliked it, It keeps getting nicer and nicer each time I look at it.Also, I absolutely love the way the frame slopes into the head tube. It looks like the head tube is strengthened by the long tube I can never remember the name of.
