Engine Oil Treatments

I used some sort of oil additive in my BMW (began with w, something like wymns?), it certainly seemed to cut down the smoke, however i was also using Redex in the petrol so a combination of both helped :P definately try Redex if you haven't already, its made a noticeable improvement on all our diesal engines performance and smoke wise (not just cars, tractors too)

Cant really help on the one you linked, its not particularly expensive so may be worth a go :)

yeah, its just that this ones isnt ptfe based like others are, so i just wondered if it really is 50X better like it has announced. redex i use anyways..

but the part about it being inexpensive is irreliavent, because i dont want it to feck up the engine, see.
