Tom_
I want to try out a 17 tooth cog on the back of my zoot as I think it might be a preferable gearing than the current 16-22. The thing is Im not actually dead sure. Now all I can find is the 17tooth surley for like 22quid which I cant currently justify spending on a sprocket.Any others availabe cheaper? Non of the cheaper ones on tarty are available in 17tooth

liam-pantera
to test your ration you could allways dismantle a cassette and take a 17 tooth cog out ?

Endohopper
Sure the Surly costs a bit , but it's a very well made item and may well save you money in the long term , as narrower based cogs will dig into freehub bodies , thus damaging an expensive and critical component . . As ToXiN-BoY stated , they also look great and have a very positive feel . Edited January 16, 2008 by Endohopper
