Grind Or Pads?

Hi, im in a bit of a dilema when it rains. My standard black maggie pads start slipping on my rims! Heres the Q, Do i take the rims home at the weekend for a grind, or is their any nice pads that work well in rain and on smooth rims? Or grind and pads?

Cheers

If you want the best out of a brake its got to be a grind and new pads i'm afraid. I've found brown koxx bloxx on a harsh grind to be one of the best brakes i've had personally. Everyone grinds their rims differently though and there's so many variables. Some things that work great for some people are crap for others.

I run cnc backed cousts with no glue on a ground mod try-all rim which i have had well over a year and loads of grinds and i still can get the squeek even when wet ;)

Another thing that will help is to give the pads a sand paper now and again to take the hard ditry surface off to soften them i do this every grind never fails

No pads in the world work on a smooth rim in the wet, it just can't find the friction.

A grind is a must but I'm afraid standard black pads will be crap, when it comes to pads I have Koxx Browns at the moment but i'm thinking of changing to Rock pad blues as from what I've seen they offer a better performance.
