Al_Fel
Hooks I think people have hit the 6ft mark, Drops are gey, Gaps you're looking at 10ft static flat to flat, Drop gaps around 16ft mark and side hops are around 56".
Dave Anscombe
benito ros i think has the side hop.....although i think damon watson could have him....not shure on the hook but im pretty shure neil t has done over the world record but its not official.......yeah id like to know who has tap'd the highest ? in inches:)

psycholist
Best thing to do is probably pick a standard method of recording each move. For most moves a high resolution video of say a sidehop for example followed by, without cutting the video, measuring the bar height and something standard like the rim diameter of the bike (A known value to confirm the tape is accurate - tyre diameter will change with rim width and tyre width). It would lend itself to distribution via youtube with verification using the high resolution version of the video.
Janson
Just get some guys in uci shirts, a tape measure, a couple of bottles of wine at a worlds round. Could easily get stuff done "officially" then, especially now that literally everyone has gone over to the uci comp circuit.

Ryan Blackwell
TRA has to hold the tap record right? look at the size of the tap in the "tra in high def" vid at about 1.15 (youtube version)
Jason222
Who knows? I think most of the top riders are all neck n neck right now anyway. As soon as one got a record, the next guy would beat him.
Jsy Ben
Jeff Lenosky still holds the bunnyhop record...I think.

LEON
Jeff Lenosky still holds the bunnyhop record...I think. He had 45" back in 1998 when revolution was filmed! He must have it, but i've heard a 26" dirt jumper of some sort did 46ish, sure Jeffs able to beat that though.Leon Edited January 18, 2008 by LEON

basher
Its pritty hard to say whos done the biggest in what because of run ups and walls being different. Its like tra can tap huge but some of his silly big taps are on slanted walls and some walls are different and thent here gilles coutellier or how ever you spell it. in one of his last videos he nearly has a huge! tap. And damon watson in one of his videos measure a sidehop at 57 but the wall was slanted, without getting a set of rules and getting all riders together and getting them to ride the exact same set up its hard to saw who can do the biggest.would be good to see that all the best riders in world in one place seeing who can do biggest. Greetings
As for the bunnyhop record, I'm absolutely sure Marco Grosenik did way over 46" over an obstacle in one of his old vids. Hooks - Neil uses kickers for the big ones, that doesn't count. Same applies to TRA and his taps. Such riders know exactly how to use a tiny rock or unevenness to their advantage, so unless the wall is vertical and nothing is sticking out of it, and the runup is horizontal and smooth, I'm not going to believe someone can officially set a world record. Highest one I've seen was Vince doing 147cm in one of the AndyT movies.
