Nick Garland
Echo did the longer lever, it will feel spongier just so people know. Not bad though.
walker
the different style slave cylinders and mounting is nothing new, its been around for years as an option to run with the magura rond forks.Andrew
basher
Wooo!! longer leavers = more leverage = more power = cutting down the time it takes you to snap a lever body = you can get rid of that unwanted change in your back pocket more often wooo!!Get a vee maguras are pap
Scotty Evil1
Danni and cesar had these on there bikes when we rode with them last week, very nice, felt good.Cesar said that monty actually designed them aswell ( may of been just the lever he was talking about)Scott
ogre
are leverbody snaps covered by warrenty 'cause the website says the longerlever was made with trial riders in mind so it's thier fault for levers going bang? so warrenty jobby everytime surely ? B.E.A.U
Echo did the longer lever, it will feel spongier just so people know. Not bad though.just what i thourth. Would it be better to do same length but with how rb leavers were with that dip
AdamR28
In testing Magura have actually found the 4-finger blade less likely to crack/snap lever bodies - the riders think this may be due to a little more flex in the blade. They also have some CNC lever blades out in Red and Black which will be available very soon. Balman
Still think 04 leavers are better i have never had a newer style leaver and it last me or feel nice for more than a week i personaly don't like the design i dont think ill trust that shape again i say bring back the 04 shape just my opition but ill be sticking with rb/04 would have been nice to see a complete redesign but hey what can you do.... Krisboats
Just in case nobody could find a nice picture of them. I won't be getting one, no point replacing the RB yet.

John Shrewsbury
At last they've found sense to do a better lever blade, just like the old 03's

Adam there available now my local bike shop has them in.im gettin 2 they look well meaty increase brake leverige anol dannyI doubt they will increase braking performance they'll just be like a hs11 proper loads except the hs11 had a plastic body but depends if this will flex or not due to it having a long leverblade and a metal lever body lets see who the first person is to buy one of these then. Id like to see you to make it last for 2 weeks. ADAM : thats my magura cnc lever below got it for £20 of the local bikeshop Edited January 14, 2008 by Andeee
Luke Rainbird
Pointless for me though! using Vee and all!!I'm with Gibbo - though it's nice to see the thought going into it. Maggies have been pretty much the benchmark for trials brakes for years now, and Magura would do well to keep that reputation

Janson
I doubt they will increase braking performance they'll just be like a hs11 proper loads of flex and they'll just end up snapping the long leverage is possibly more for cross country etc They wont last for trials specific use. Id like to see you to make it last for 2 weeks. The HS11 brake had a plastic lever body though, and a different cross section on the lever blade.Mechanically speaking, the longer blades will enhance braking power. If the extra power will lead to a bigger flex increase than actual power increase, they will be a failure. However, I'm pretty sure Magura has done its homework for this one. Also, they recommend it for trials, as you may see in the picture I previously posted.I will definitely be getting one of these longer lever blades. A bit of extra sponge is no problem, if it's too bad I'll just put a booster on.
Dan@Trials-uk
Like Adam said, These new 4 finger levers are found to be less likely to snap after Magura official testing. And the Magura CNC levers are available now in black and red - Awsome upgrade:)
