dirt jumper jake
Hi,i just been looking through onza's new 2008 bikes and this i think is appaling, could the spec get any worse? i mean there using parts from the t-vee and t-bird, why do they not use magura?i personally think a 06 t-bird is better than this!onza you need to get off youre ass and do something about it! pehaps new braked wheels bars and stem? Dan6061
Nothing wrong with Vee brakes...How is it worse?Better cranks, better forks (disc mount), Magura mounts with Vee adapters, Tensile freewheel.Just because a bike has Magura's, doesn't mean it's good. danhalson
Thats horrible look at it it would be ok if it had some decent brakes wheels bars its got front disc adaptors so y not use them duhhh i sure would it looks like it could be quite a nice bike 4 onza with the right bits of kit on it Edited January 13, 2008 by danhalson
Dan6061
ts got front disc adaptors so y not use them duhhhThen the price would go up due to better parts, then you'd moan because it costs too much and there's no bikes for beginners. It's a beginners bike really, so they're not going to spec it up because people that start out don't need really good bikes. It leaves you the option for upgrades without buying new forks, etc.

Just because its not a spec you'd like to see doesn't make it worse. Being cheaper will make this bike more appealing to people just starting trials. If you wanted your own spec etc you'd buy all the parts yourself and build it up. In my opinion Onza are making starting trials a lot easier than any other trials company. Conor the basher.
Onza are trying to sell this bike and by the sounds of things you have never riden one or even seen one properly, so stop making things hader for them and keep your opinions to our self until you try one. ManxTrialSpaz
Ahh. It's that shitty green colour again! Meh I think it looks alright. Pretty good spec as well for that price. Back end of the frame looks good as well, whatver they've done to it.
Sir_Hops_Alot
It's practically the same as the 2007 bike.
Dave Anscombe
To be fair its not that bad at all .i was going to ride one of thees almost standard...only up grade i was going for were spanish fly pads
dirt jumper jake
what im trying to say is that they should aim higher i think they could do alot better than this! Its also cheaper now.. Just because its not a spec you'd like to see doesn't make it worse. Being cheaper will make this bike more appealing to people just starting trials. If you wanted your own spec etc you'd buy all the parts yourself and build it up. Dave Anscombe
they do ....look at the limey...beginner bikes are cool its what most of us started on.look at it like thisif thear was no begginer bikes i would of never started trials FACTfor the price the onza is going at the bike is actually mint and i was exited about getting one davex
Grant Hundley
Yes onza is by far the best company to start with, but they should aim higher than beginners bikesThey do, they will know that people who will buy their bikes will eventually get new parts and upgrade. So on their frames have pretty good geo, so when the beginner upgrades, he/she will still have a good bike.Means that if they don't like trials then they havn't spent hundreds more than what they needed too. Tamnessâ„¢
I've got a T-Pro and it rides like the sex. It's my first trials bike and without it I'd still be playing my 360 for 6 hours a day (thank god I'm not fat). But yes I am going to get a rear maggy, just because ive got some money lying around. _Owen.
This thread is soo terrible! loads of total noobs thinking that anything without mags is sh*t. The t-pro, i believe is a nice bike. Most of the time a good set up vee will perform just as well as, if not better than a mag! And as for the wheels, onza rims are relitively stiff for the price. This sort of bike is aimed at someone looking to buy a 1st bike whom has a bit to spend, or a second bike.In my eyes onza do good bikes for the price! The price a t-pro goes for, is awsome for the bike your getting!
Tom_
A whollleeee lotta people run vees on there bikes out of choice. I just got rid of a maggy for a vee as did a couple of friends of mine. T-pros ride amazingly they are by far the best begginers bike. I would rather have vees and a tensile freewheel than maggys and an ACS...Seriously dont slate it till you have tried it. Vees are absolutly fine they lock and hold completely adequetly.Onza do aim high the limey is a great frame and used in world championship comps. They just aim at the begginer market aswell as no one would get into the sport if there wernt cheaper bikes available. The geo on these is a whole lot better than a t-bird. Im sorry but your just wrong.

_Owen.
You seen the new t-mag? That for sure is different!
dirt jumper jake
i mean different frame style they have bikes with a sloping frame with a seat and bikes with a straight diagonal top tube they could do some with more curves like the kamel or simalar
0zzy
its an ausaum bike quit complaining plus they ride lush! hell of a lot better then a t-bird there not even in the same leauge the dont even ride anything near like each other you blatently have never riden a t-pro beofre
