El Cristoff
Hey all,I recently bought a Try-All freewheel off of Trials-Uk. Order was fine, quick delivery and all that, but when i came to open the tin they had sent me a 16 tooth instead of the normal 18 tooth.I was wondering, how many other mod riders run the 16-12 gear ratio, is it nice, responsive etc.All help would be much appreciated Chris
Muel
It'll be a bit low I would have thought, try a 11t rear sprocket?Personally I'd send it back.

cai
It would most properly feel like the gearing you get on an Onza T-bird / Mission Prodigy (20-18 or something like that),in a very small amount of peoples opinions = the perfect gearing! As for everyone else in the trials world (including me) way to low!Who knows? you may love it but if it were me I'd follow the advice of El Mule and send it back! JonMack
It's similar to running 22:17 on a stock, or 20:15.Ish...EDIT:Yours is16 / 12 = 1.33333333Standard is18 / 12 = 1.5Others16 / 11 = 1.4545454520 / 15 = 1.3333333322 / 17 = 1.2941176522 / 16 = 1.37500So it could work but it might feel weird. I'd just send it back if I were you. Edited January 13, 2008 by JonMack
