What are music videos all about? sat watching MTV2 whilst doing some work, Is it 30 seconds to mars? Whats that all about

I really don't undertsand the point of music videos. that have no relation to the song? Or infact that just aren't funny/good.

Ok Go's treadmill video was on after, thats an awsome video, just because its so origional. I'm not a fan of the music, but I just recon that is such a good idea. On at the minute, White stripes, Fell in love with a girl, Love the song, and the video, Just think the lego'ness makes it awsome.

I think they're mostly to depict a seperate and also pointless subliminal message to attract the viewers attention and get them to like the song. Aka so emos and hormonal teenagers will think they can relate to the songs which gives them something else to cry/whinge/be angry about. Only video i like atm is Nickleback - Rockstar, because its original and looks quite funny
