Bionic Balls
can't find anywhere that actually says what it is though!
JonMack
U6-Super LightPULO first introduced U6 alloy material into its production in 2000. It was developed and implemented gradually with quality and durability in mind. As a result it has since gained a great reputation. The raw materials of U6 alloy tubes are made in Taiwan and imported to be manufactured in PULO, China.Major Advantages of U6:Average 33% better tensile strength than 6061 alloy material.Approximately 20% lighter than 6061alloy material. That's about all I could find too. psycholist
Have a look around www.matweb.com - it's a pretty serious database of materials and their properties. Poke around there - I can't find U6 properties anywhere on it though. It's possible U6 may be a heat treatment too. Generally T is used as a prefix for heat treatment types though, 6061 T6 is 6061 composition with a specific heat treatment to improve its properties for example.
