Tim hill is a dick... yeah
Buy a crank extractor or hit it with a hammer!
NileBrown™
You need a crank extractor tool, or alternatively bang it off. But I wouldn't advise you to do that. Try if you wish....

Tim hill is a dick... yeah
You could put something around the crank arm so it does'nt damage it as much.

NileBrown™
Any crank extracter that will work with modern crank arms such as yours will work, you can get them from most bike shops and halfords do them too in bikehut. Some extractors need a little attachment to take off ISIS cranks but most people use 5p coins. But if you choose that option don't go doing it in front of policemen haha( its treason)
BenLeacock™
I managed to get a isis crank off by putting chisel onto the bb, hitting down and it slowly came off
kingkopity
smear Vaseline around the bit of BB you have sticking out between crank arm and frame then put it in front of speaker turned up full.
Phil H
If the worst comes to the worst and you can't get hold of a crank extractor (and you've tried going to your local bikeshop) and the hammer isn't working just heat the metal of the crank up and tap it with a hammer until it comesPhil
Callum-Luvs-Trials
Just go to your local bike shop mate and let them deal with it.They will charge like 1 pound.Saves all the hassel.Hope this helps.
Alex Dark
smear Vaseline around the bit of BB you have sticking out between crank arm and frame then put it in front of speaker turned up full.Does thius actually work~? sounds like a load of rubbish to me....surely the vibrations wouldnt loosen it in the slightest.... Charlie Jennings
RightTheres a certain skill to this. get one foot on the pedal/crank. then get your other foot (strong foot) and kick down on the allen key REALLY hard.Get a hammer (preferbly Rubber) and Smack the fooker off. Grant Hundley
Just ride around with the crank bolt out.Keep checking it to see whether it has came loose, if it has then it should just pull off easily.Or just keep smacking it... jimmy b
I'd reccomend a crank extractor beacaue its much safer for your cranks! If you've got a hollow bb then stick a 5p in there to give it something to push against. Unless your bb tool came with a little bit!
