If not then I recommend you get one. Heatsink do the syringes pretty cheap.

Dan6061
^^I've never completely understood that?So you take one bolt off, and just pump the brake?Or take both bolts off, and pump it?Either way, I can't see how it works properly? LEON
Basically he cant be arsed to buy a bleed kit, so does the bleed with the entire brake submerged in water......he wonders why its crap Leon

Alex Dark
You need to cover one of the holes when you pull the lever, then leave it open when the lever returns...this makes the water enter the brake, other wise it wont really work...i dont think anyway... James Quigley
I take both off and just keep pumping it but while it is submerged under water. It normally worksdoing that wont fill the lever properly, leading to air in the brake. You need to squeeze the lever then cover up the hole on the cylinder before you release the lever, this should suck some water into the lever, repeat a few time to be safe. JsyJoel93
why would you want to suck air INTO the lever ?Joel
Dan6061
Submerged bleed:Brake underwater, bleed bolts out.Block one hole, and pump the lever, keeping the blade down. Then unblock hole A and then block hole B.Then release the lever, and unblock hole B and block hole A.Repeat.That's how I used to do it.. just wacking it underwater with no bleed bolts and pumping never worked for me? Ash-Trials
I cover the hole on the slave then press lever then take finger off slave and let lever go back.I just sit there doing that for a couple of mins and works every time
