streetjibs
for those of u not too fussy about having a seat... this is a breath of fresh air in todays trials!Yess Trials frame :Yess has made only a few of these frames. The specs are: 1015mm wheelbase 390mm chainstays 5+ BB rise 72degree head angle V-brake bosses (can fit up to a 42mm rim). It's a super fun playbike to get your hands on. It bunnyhops and manuals with little effort. The frame weight is 1600grams, 3.52pounds! Wow, now that's light. The frame material is Alcoa Aluminum, which is reportedly extremely difficult to come by these days. Alcoa ALCALYTE high performance bicycle alloys are derived from the same alloys Alcoa developed for aerospace applications (including the Lunar Roving Vehicle), where materials meet extreme terrain, temperatures, G-forces and other stresses most of us can only imagine. This means it is light and strong which allows you to do spin moves, and throw it around with total ease and confidence. It would ride super nice i think... just IMHO a shame there is no seat. maxwellduryea
I thought i was alone on this. I have owned four Norco frames, starting with the red one in 2003?, then the white one, then the blue one, and now onto the battleship gray one. Next is the Manifesto white one. Granted, they do crack kind of easily. With the start of the red one, i broke each frame since then, ending with the gray one with a huge crack on the inner right chainstay (much like the Orange Zero). I have owned that frame, the Orange Zero, PAshley 26mhz, DBR Thybialt Mariux frame, PLanet X Zebdi MK IV, Zoo Python, Brisa B26d, Megamo Equip Pro 26 (?), and an Addict cycles frame. I have to say that the Norco has been the best to me. It rides lovely. Its light, the feel is great (STEEL!), and i love the fact i can up the seatpost and actually get somewhere. It is kind of a pain when it does crack, and you have to get it warrantied, but they do keep warrantying them. Its nice to get a new frame every year. And not have to pay for it. Id say that the Zero comes in Second for me, but frankly, the tire clearance and the fact that every* Zero cracks in the same spot is kind of a downfall. Plus i love the feel of steel. Personal preference. Here's a question....and i might be the only one. Is anyone riding front suspension forks still?
Alex Dark
im tempted to dial down some mx comps for my woodstock to stick two fingers up at the people that told me woodstock isnt a proper trials bike!i thought my woodstock was short at 1065...but 1025?! holy moly...thats minute....can you still do all the trialsy stuff on a bike that short? I really want a pash 26mhz...but i think im going to have to settle for my woodstock decked out in oldskool parts; anyone know what length stem on the woodstock for a really streety feel? Im running 85mm on the pitbull at the moment
