spartan
Ok so, i started riding trials on a dedicated bike about october of last year. I can pedal kick, do some go gaps pedal ups, tap (sorta) i can hook almost 4.5 feet and i am starting to get good at the gaps to front wheel. But now that i can go to front wheel i need to start wheelswaping to the rear. I mean i can do the wheel swap but not on something narrower than like 3 feet.So it means that when i land a gap or and up to the front wheel with the front wheel close to the edge i then can't land it because i cant get my back wheel onto the obstacle.I was wondering if anybody had any tips on how to tighten up my wheelswaps so i can start doing fronts to hand rails and such.CheersIan
steve@banbury-trials
i find its easyer when i dont try to wheelswap at a rightangle to the obsticle, something like 45degrees to the obsticle is easyer.oww yeah,a ton of practise is needed too steve
python_man
when you gap bend your knees more so you go into a higher endo and you should be able to really throw your weight back and get the backwheel where your front wheel is try practicing on white lines in the road thats what i do
