Hendrix
Basically.I need to buy a Magura for my back brake on my temp trials bike. The front holds and holds, but the back brake is utterly useless. It's not a four bolt mounting, it's a standard MTB Two bolter. Obviously it'd need a booster as well. All I need to know is where can I purchase it, including the lever, pipes and fluid!Cheers,Hendrix

Concussion
Try looking in the classified section for a cheap rear maggie and some Evo mounts. I think I've got a set of Evo's and a booster or two knocking about if you want them?
Hendrix
Most of the websites listed above are ALL FOUR BOLT ones. There is no option for a two bold "Standard MTB" Magura. Now, it is just an adaptor for a Four to Two or something ? Hendrix
Just run a decent vee set up its just as good and some people find better includeing meselfFront one is fine. I've never liked Vees on the back, not powerful enough, ever. No matter what pads I use, or how I set them up.Went out on it today, and it slipped. And as soon as it gets slightly damp, doesn't hold at all, not even good enough for stopping anymore.

A) You can then use them on most bikes after and You could probably sell them on for more after ?btw - Chain Reaction don't have them (and to the above. don't anyone get freekay and protective please ? . It's just never worked for me )
James Quigley
Some guy in classifieds is swapping a set for some forks, maybe he'd sell them instead.

Hendrix
Some guy in classifieds is swapping a set for some forks, maybe he'd sell them instead. After reading that, all I need are the mounts. I can get the HS33's easy enough, nice and cheap too Do tarty bikes sell them ?Easier to buy a Vee. 1) hoses dont randomly explode, 2) doesnt freeze when bled with water, 3) easier to set up, 4) bloody powerful, 5) no bleeding required I've never seen a hose explode once, ever ha ha. Wouldn't be using water. I know they can be a pain to set up, so I'd get my neighbour to do it. Can they seriously be more powerful ? Dan6061
Avid ultimate, Avid Sd lever, heatsink vee pads, your a good'un Avid ultimate, Shimano XTR lever, Plaz CRVs, and a Slic cable.. Vees are way easier! Set up on the lowest spring tension they feel nicer than Maguras (IMO) and you can get spares from any bike shop, because it's just cables and bolts... Not oil and hosing.
