JonMack
Hey, I'm looking at getting my King serviced, does anyone know of anywhere that could do it? I assume the only place with the right tools is Tarty, but I thought I'd ask just in case. Thanks, Jon.
AdamR28
I imagine there are plenty of places who could do it, but most will service for XC use... which will probably make it skip.Ads
Wet Banana
Is there any way to stretch the spring without pulling all the gubbins out with the puller? Edited January 4, 2008 by Wet Banana
Al_Fel
The best way to strech the spring is not to bother ha. You've got to be really carful with it otherwise it goes out of shape and will push past the rings and make it skip/not engage at all. You can't get the spring out without taking the bearing etc out. N.Wood
The wonderful ( ) people at Bromley Bikes have all the tools to do it.Though i had them service mine after it startd skipping and the problem still hadn't gone away. They have all the spares though, if you need and new internals.I only went to them as its down the road and they're the UK importer.
