MadManMike
Right, burnt one with Media Player and it was basically just a load of mp3 files on a DVD. I wanted to burn it with folder structures, like so:Open the DVD, you're faced with 2 things - a folder that says Music and a text file saying Read Me. This is the structure of the folder on the PC, but Media Player decides it knows best when I burn it It appears impossible to do this with Media Player - is there a way, and is it free? tomturd
Ignoring media player completely.Put the blank DVD in. Go to my computer, double click the DVDRW drive. Drag the folders/files into there. Then you should be able to click 'file > burn' or something similar.

I have that on disc somewhere from my old PC...
Adam L
Yeah Nero will do it, if you've got StartSmart. There should be a tab on StartSmart which says data, click make a data dvd and away you go just follow the wizard.Hope this helps, Adam. tomturd
You don't need smartstart. Just open up nero, create a new DATA (not audio!) compilation, drag your files/folder over and burn.

MadManMike
Thanks folks, got there in the end...Turns out Vista is more complex with the whole drag 'n' drop thing, turned out I made the schoolboy error of not "ending session".First one burnt (No, I haven't been trying all this time!)Anyway, expect copies to be sent out tomorrow when I go home and pick up addresses to send to
