Andy P
To anyone that can help, I need a manifold flange made from 15mm thick mild steel. I've attached a PDF of what I need. The tolerances dont have to quite a tight as shown but it needs to be fairly accurate.Obviously I'll pay for it providing the price is right Cheers, Andy Pmani_flange.pdf

ZeroMatt
edit: You might want to measure where all the holes need to be Alternatively give a scale for the drawing if it's accurate, or even better draw it 1:

Its been off the road for a while now - for bigger and better things How my workshop looks at the moment!!!The PDF is 1:1 scale but if required I'll put up all the measurements up.Andy P
Guest
I think you'll need to before anyone will be able to make it. The dimensions your using are exact, there are no tolerances in your drawing, i'd imagine something small like half a mill either way would be ok, but in certainley no expert! ZeroMatt
The PDF is 1:1 scale but if required I'll put up all the measurements up.Are you sure mate? Only reason I mentioned it was because seemed way off, ie the 57.1mm gives me about 75 mm. It may be my printer is mental but shouldn't be that far off. Andy P
The tolerances dont have to be as exact as I've listed. the exhaust ports for example can be a few mm smaller than shown because at the end of the day I'll be matching them to the head (which will also be ported). The scale is 1:1 @ A3.Andy

Andy P
As I said, you havnt used any tolerances.http://engineering.dartmouth.edu/mshop/pdf/introdr.pdfPage 11 shows what i'm on about.True although as I've said it dosent have to be exact. The measurements I've given have been adapted from inches hence all the decimal numbers. The exhaust ports can be smaller (1-2mm), but not larger. The bolt holes would obviously be 9mm (for a M8 bolt) so a +-0.5mm tolerance on bolt centres. External dimensions (the actual plate size) do not require such a tolerance, so long as there is sufficient material for welds - at a guess I'd say +-3mm.Andy
the_soon_to_be
Andy, i can programme it at work and laser it out,do you want it that exact drawing, exactly how that is drawn ??if, yeah give me a bell and can sort it out.. will pm you my numbergaz
Ducko
the drawing does not have enough detail, get a better one, with radius sizes overall length, tolerances, hole centres etc,
Andy P
Here's one with more measurements. Estimated tolerances as above.mani_flange2.pdfAndy P
