Phil H
I bled my magura this morning in the bath and I think I followed the correct procedure. (Take out bolt on slave, take off lever, suck water up through the top while slave is underwater, put on lever, do up slave bolt) but I just can't seem to get enough liquid in the system so when I pull the lever one side moves a few milimetres and the other side is more or less stationery. What am I doing wrong?cheers, Phil
TrAsHeR
Did you put the whole brake under the water including the lever ?
Phil H
Did you put the whole brake under the water including the lever ?I think so, the lever came out when it had been tightened up but it was secure so I can't think that would be a problem, the slaves stayed under the whole time.Phil
TrAsHeR
Well when the hole brake is under the water pump your brake a few times but remember when you but let go the lever put your finger on the slave hole to block it .And when you screw it back do it under the water too. Deonn h
1.Submerge the full brake in the bath.2.Undo bolts and tpa.3.Put your finger over the open hole on the lever body and press the lever blade down.4.Take your finger off the hole and slowly bring the lever back to normal position which sucks water in.3*Place finger over hole again4*3*4*3*4*3*4* 5. Do the bolts up under water.Follow that it will work.dont pump the brake without finger over hole it wont do a thing. And then put my finger over the tiny one on the lever and press and release slowly the lever?Cheers, Phil
JonMack
Yeah, you undo the only two bolts that there are to undo, with the whole thing underwater, then put your finger over the little hole on the lever body, then press the lever blade down, then take your finger off, and slowly release the lever blade, then repeat. Phil H
Cheers guys it worked.Except now I have one lazy cylinder, so it gets pushed forwards hits the rim then when I let go just stays rubbing against the rim. How can I oversome this? I tried lubricating it with silicon spray.Phil
