PaRtZ Posted January 1, 2008 Report Share Posted January 1, 2008 Just a quickie for all the car guys out there, is there anything I can do to my skoda felicia diesel (1.9D not turboed) to give it more power? I know adding a turbo to it is one thing but thats a bit too complicated for my level of competence with cars. I was thinking more along the lines of performance air filters and such? but will it still help with power for a diesel or is it petrols only?Feel free to list some ideas, take money as no object but im not doing an engine transplant thanks guys! That looks like the cone filter. 4-2-1 extractors would give a little more low rpm, and 4-1 extractors would give you a better top-end. That looks like the cone filter. 4-2-1 extractors would give a little more low rpm, and 4-1 extractors would give you a better top-end.it doesnt have a carb? extractors????you mean manifolds. pretty expensive item, and little gains. look into a dtuk tuning box, about all thatd be worth doing. Will Arnold Posted January 2, 2008 Report Share Posted January 2, 2008 works out as 2bhp per 100 quid! loli'd do the air filter, much cheaper! and less hassle by the sounds of it?!? also, i'd chuck some redex in with a tank, just to clear out any shit from the fuel system that may be deducting from its performance..ooooorrr you could find a complete engine with a turbo on it would be easier than the fitting and tuning that a turbo fit requires.
