Thats because you set it up so you can choose both options instead of just one, so people did that just to f**k with your poll.

i've used a 30mm rim before and it was fine :)

with frames getting lower clearance issues rise up too...

aaannnndddd... people want cnc squares with holes? :S

i like my bike fairly light,im not the most powerfull of riders so i like my bike easy to through around so i choose lighter parts.i dont go over boared with the weight game,i have a double walled rear tyre,echo forged cranks and so forth .also having lighter parts means you can have heavyer parts elsewhere on you bike,where it would make sence too.

I ran a 38mm on my XTP and when the pads got to a certain level of wear I couldn't use my brake anymore, so had to buy new pads, so it's not really pointless.

true,when i had a 32mm rear rim i could only use half the pad material :unsure:
