Greetings
Square holes please. If not, I'd stick with the CNC'd ones. Otherwise we'll just end up with another re-branded Tryall or Viz rim.
BenLeacockâ„¢
Id like cnc'd! There is already a wide range of drilled rims.
Grant Hundley
Square holes please.= cracks at the corner of the holesround holes are stronger than square holes, cnc squares are even stronger Edited January 1, 2008 by Grant Hundley
J Trials 31
I like the new octagon shaped V!Z rims for the 24's! Looks awesome! I didn't know Dan was planning on rims. I don't really like those, but you could do something different and make it look good.

Sponge
CNC'd be greatBut please do this:-anodized black sidewalls to go with, front and rear... (less effort than having to raw them later..?) and looks better.-32 AND 36h!-wide like try-all rims i.e. 48mm^that'd be perfect there'd be a huge market for it outside of biketrials too

Dan6061
How is it pointless? It'll fit many modern frames with wider spacing on the seat stays, it'll be easier to set rim brakes on, and the tyres would stay on a lot more, as it'd stop the tyres 'rolling' off the edge of the rim... Grant Hundley
yes but there not going to be made especially for you are they.shut up, i never said that it IS pointless, i said i THINK it is.that guy said it would be perfect if it was 48mm wide, not perfect for me, so its not perfect at all hopefully dan will make a front one thats about 38mm and a rear one about 48mm. i'd just have the front then (as long as its double walled)anyway, this thread isnt about width, just whether to have them cnc'd or drilled.
