Ravemonkey
personal preference reallyi would run a maggie on the back if you haven't one alreadybut on the front i would have a go on another bike with a maggie on the front and see how you find itit just feels like your front brake is a bit less softin my opinion i would run a maggiebut only get one if you can get it cheap-ishas there is not much difference and it isn't worth the extra costat the end of the day though it is up to you
Ben H!
maybe a magura louise if you have enough money to spend on a brake

dirt jumper jake
I ride a dual disc bike and a bike with hs33's on and i would go for magura over discs any day I think think a decent set of maguras is cheaper than a decent set of discs and plus most frames come with magura mounts on the rear and as far as i know thers not very many frames fro a decent price with rear disc mounts, yeah its all good to have dual disc but over all maguras are cheaper to maintain and to buy brand new, if you look on tartys theres loads of replacement parts or maguras and not that much on the disc section , what does that tell you.... maguras are better.so over all yeah i would go for hs33's .jake Edited January 1, 2008 by dirt jumper jake

Ben H!
depends what kind of disc brakes you have though , i personally hate hope .....leon xmy bike is a dual disc and the hope brakes are not really that awsome they have good power but i prefered my old magura louise
Skoze
i think magura because if you drop off a wall with a disc and mess up then you might clip the wall or something and bend your disc, and a disc costs moreA spanner and a hammer are all you ever need to sort out that problem (unless you snap it, then you're screwed.)Anyway, big discs ***
dirt jumper jake
ive ridden dual magura ,dual cable disc and dual hydrualic disc bikes and over all magura hs33's are un-beatable really.
Lloyd B
get a bb7 its the best thing i have ever done it feels so gripy and it wont let you down once it has bed in
Curly-Sam
personaly i would go magura they seem to be sronger i think but if you get a good disc brake on the front it could be as powerful or evan more powerful than the magurathe disc's look better in my opinion but looks dont always matter. 0zzy
ive riden a avid bb5 disk and a magura (both on front) and i found that magura gave the better hold but the disk was alot quicker to react, but imo i would rather have a well set up maggie with some good pads.
