Ps3 Problem

When I go to create a new user profile on the ps3 menu, I enter a name for it, press enter and it won't appear, so im stuck with the one. I've looked around the playstation site and manual and can't find a way to sort it out.

Also I've been playing assassins creed, which is excellent, but I can only save one game, I need to save another at a different point for my sister. On the main menu for assasins creed it only allows me to overwrite the game that I've saved. I've checked and theres still plently of space left to save another few, just won't let me.

anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?

Regarding the save game, go back to the PS3's dashboard and slap a memory stick in a USB slot and copy your save game to it. Then you can carry on saving to the one on your HDD while the one on the USB stick stays the same.

i dont know if it the same on PS3 (360 user) but just create a different profile and just sign into another profile when she wants to play. dont know if this helps but meh.

Yeah, that was one of the problems, I still can't make a different profile
