JonMack
Anything really. There aren't really any shit frames out, something like an Echo Lite, the new Gu range, Zoo!, Adamant (even though they're ugly), Bionics are nice and light, etc.

liam-pantera
Yes i just found out that B1 is the 26" and B2 is the 20", sorry lol.easy mistake to make i ounce mistaked a bloke for a woman in tiland ..... poor ting ting but back to the matter at hand , i sugest the echo lite or the aorta mod . i think these are both brilliant bikes because they have reasonable geo that will suite most riders and there very very light because they dont have as much cnc components on the frame . Tom_
bash plates=the most pointless things. ever.bash ring ***.
Token
Why are bash plates pointless? You ride a competition they are like the best thing ever, you don't have to do anything to back wheel an you can balance on a plate alot easier than a bash ring because they're so flat. Just makes comps so much easier.
Sonny Clarke
but isnt there a risk of smashing the down tube? or am i wrong?
abtrials
i would go for the bionic and save yourself the £70 for something else, they are as good as any other frame and at that price who wouldnt want one?
Tom_
In my opinion its pointless. I guess I didnt think for comps, mostly as its really not my thing. To be honest though the bash plate doesnt really protect the d/t much its more the bb area and chain ring/ chain. Most of which are protected by the bash ring. Also I cant remember which comp rules it is but in one is it not the rules that bash /pedals count as a dab? An a bashplate is 100% preferred over a bash ring because of the balance and the grip you get from it, don't forget aswell, if your constantly smashing down on a bashring it's going to be putting alot of force through one side of the bottom bracket whereas if you smash down on a bashplate the force is spread over 4 points (the down tube, both chainstays and the bottom bracket.) Tom_
fair enough. Thats pretty true, if your new to it and likley to be learning things to bash etc. then maybe its worth getting a frame with a bash or if your thinking of entering comps. If your more advanced and backwheeling well etc. and plan on riding mostly street, then I wouldnt worry if it does or doesnt have a bash.
