Big thanks to Adam at tartybikes for building my wheel on Christmas eve and at such short notice. Top bloke thanks alot :)

I would also like to thank heatsinkbikes for sending me such great parts, and somehow managing to get them to me just before christmas!

And thanks to Andy Hudson who sent me the bars.

Cheers for all the comments, I hope everyones having a good Christmas!! :)

I'm so glad that I decided to go for a vee setup! I put alot of money into the pads/adaptors as I bought them new, theres is a new lever and cable yet to go on. So far so good though, It feels really nice and works very well :D

I will edit my original post at the top and include a spec of the brake.

Its really really good, I really can see why all the top riders are starting to use them :D

:D Good to hear. How much are they? I could use an SD7 leaver with it couldn't I?

oh my god! I thought that was a Pitbull. :$ I'd take that as a compliment :P

Haha nice :D

Yeah your lever will be fine, I'm gonna be using one! To be honest the most expensive thing to get hold of is the 4 bolt to vee adaptors and the pads... I had to buy mine new so adaptors were £30 and pads were £25 :( If you can find some onza adaptors second hand and then buy your pads off tarty then your laughing :)

My vee arms cost me £10 secondhand off ebay and the lever I had kicking around... A clarks cable from tartybikes cost about £4, does the job :)

Hope I have helped! Have a great Christmas :)

See i told you it would be FIT! Glad i kinda pushed you into Vee...

So glad you did mate :)

Loooks really nice. Im starting to like t-rex's now ?

They ride really nice, aren't as bad as people think... But admittedly the frames are quite heavy... my full build weighed 12.48kg with a maggie on it (using the official tarty scales!).

Hey darling.

That is one sexy steed! I think if I ever got a rear rim brake again, it would have to be be a vee. The thought of owning another maggy scares me at nights.

Good lad, my vee worked amazing today :| seriously it was amazing... it didn;t slip... at all, even when it was raining... and the rim was nearly smooth!

Having said that, the pin that goes into the frame to give the vee spring snapped off and I had to bodge it... and then it worked again :o

Very Nice matey , You going to be running a booster?

Works nice as it is, but I will probably look into buying one sooner or later... I have bin told the outland ones are good for the money :)

Aim to have a mini-one of them soon :P

Looks lovely.

Glad people are catching onto vees being better. Hahaha.

Haha can't wait to see it :D do it in the same colours as mine!!!!!!!!

Vees are the best :)
