JoeM
Pads: Koxx BrownsTime used:1 monthRim used: MontyGrind: Yes but worn down medium.Ceraminc: NoBrake used: MaguraWhat is your opinion of a working brake: Locks the wheel completely. How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Alot better, compared to my plazmatic pads there amazing!Review: Well at first they were dull, but as i had been told it took a bit for them to wear in. As I rode them they gradually started to hold better and better. After about a week or so I took them off the bike and sanded off the layer of glaze on the brake pad, after that they were amazing, the bite was there, the hold was there. I can't fault them. Callum-Luvs-Trials
Pads: Acor Yellow'sTime used: 3-4 monthsRim used: Try-allGrind: was grinded, Now sanded to smoothCeraminc: NoBrake used: Magura 05, Echo cnc lever balde, Metal Tpa.What is your opinion of a working brake: Good hold and bite, Little bit of noise. How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Amazing.Review:When I first got these pads I put them on a grind and they had good hold but no bite and had no noise. I then sanded the rim down and they became really good, hold improved and bite did aswell, but still didn't have alot of bite. Nice noise aswell, not to loud so it gave me some convidence Today I took my booster off and jesus It's amazing, loads of bite and hold, Noise beacme good aswell. On a grind they really did lose alot of wear but now they are on a smooth rim, Wear rate is amazing Got these pads for £9 from my local Bike shop aswell. Captain Scarlet
Is there really any point in New members chat having a Brake pad review topic?, I mean the majority of active new members will be validated in no time so they can add to the current pad reviews in trials chat, but for now they can at least read them.Secondly, lots of the new members are new to trials anyway, so they wouldn't have the experience of testing a pad to comment on it.=D
