Smo™
Awesome film, but too short! Anyone else find the ending a little frustrating?I think it ended a little abruptly - don't know about anyone else but I was expecting the huge infected dude to see the girl (I'm assuming he went psycho in the first place because of her kidnapping, wether she be a sister/girlfriend etc) and realise there was a cure, so he stopped smashing his head on the glass, Smith opened the door and they had a big hug, sat down and talked about it.Also, did anyone else find it hard not to cry when he choked Sam to death? Aww.

James Quigley
Also, did anyone else find it hard not to cry when he choked Sam to death? Aww.got me a little choked up It did end too quickley, had the potential to be a 3 hour movie (and one I would have watched for 3 hours). Thanks for the file smo
Dani.
Yes it ended too quickly, sucked that he had to 'nade himself at the end! It's also too bad that there's no real story with the woman he cured, as it's been said, it'd have been cool if they'd have sat down all together and talked about it . Poor sam, I nearly cried when he had to choke her aswell .Oh and who moved that mannequin that will smith shot with a machine gun? Is it supposed to be him that moved it? James Quigley
Oh and who moved that mannequin that will smith shot with a machine gun? Is it supposed to be him that moved it?At a guess it was the angry evil walking dead dude, sort of a trap to catch the b*****d that stole his woman. Shaun H
I've read the synopsis for it and it sounds mint, will definitely be watching it either tomorrow or some time after christmas.I want to read the original book too but am far too lazy to go look for it. Haz
I am the only one who couldn't stand it?THe best part for me was Sam, because that was one awesome dog. THe problem with that, is that if I wanted to see an 'awesome dog', I'd have watched Lassie. The film ended for me when he had to strangle Sam.I've not read the book, but I will try too, just in case it can redeem the atrocity my eyes have just witnessed. Tom_
Of course I have no idea atall but maybe googling "i am legend streaming div x" might bring up the dvd quality divx version. Of course I dont think its a good idea.... I was really looking forward to it after seeing the ads for it but I think there was no where near enough action in it, I mean it was an hour and a half long thats short for any film let alone one with a pretty strong story line like that and with room for a couple of story lines running off it.To me it just seemed like a story that I would have written in a timed exam got like half way through, realised I had about 10minutes to finish so give it a sudden ending. He could surley have Either chucked the grenade out the door, or through the small hole that was made in the glass by that zombie guy, then legged it into the little furnace hole the girl and boy were in?Ended far to early and to be honest didnt really enjoy it to much, anti climax really. Fishy
I don't see what the hype is all about? It's just a shit american version of 28 days later.
Simon
That film could of been so, so great. But a massive disappointment that was. What a massive shame. Hopefully Jumpers wont disappoint.
Fish-Finger-er
if I wanted to see an 'awesome dog', I'd have watched Lassie.youve actually just made me almost cry with laughter with that comment, dont know wether you somehow got comic timing down to the second there over the internet or something. but it was literally comic genious. but yea sam was well cool. and i did think the ending, if a little "generic heroic, selfless for the good of the worlds existence" stylee. was rather abrupt and short. although i suppose if thats how the book ended, thats how the film ends. was rather 28 days later to say the least. also some things didnt add up in it, but well not go into that, as its film, same as all the "he could of done this and that" but then if people took the sensible options, then films would be rather lifeless. like in 28 weeks later, if Felix da Suza or whatever hes actually called in that film, didnt kiss his diseased wife whod he ran off from before. everything would of been a lot easier, but then it would of made for a crap film. Shaun H
Just watched it on that youtube link, cheers! Also, did anyone else find it hard not to cry when he choked Sam to death? Aww.I had tears in my eyes haha :$ Definitely not one for the missus (dog lover and can't watch horror anyway!).awsome film i thought didnt really think it ended to quicky altho i kinda agree lol.where he chocked sam was sad yeah was like noooo not sam lolwtf where them dog things though that came after him when he was caught by one of own trapsDogs and rodents were also susceptible to the virus, so those "dog things" were infected dogs. They got Sam so she started to change too, hence Willy boy killing her The trap wasn't his own I don't think, cos they were waiting for him there and all that.If anyone's wondering the book is a fair bit different. Might have to go and buy it to see if it's better than the film. The ending was a bit dissapointing, I was really really enjoying the film up until that. Stiiilllllll, was a good watch, glad I stayed up to watch it, though why I did it tonight of all nights is beyond me Anyway bed time! Santa's gotta come! hI-OOPS-CAPS
Also, did anyone else find it hard not to cry when he choked Sam to death? Aww.not so much then, but when their family left in the helicopter. was some fantastic acting.not one of will smiths stronger ones
Joe Sheehan!
Just got in from seeing it, thought it was brilliant to be honest. Only 2 bits that annoyed me, is 1. The flashbacks of how the disease came about stopped, with no real ending. Yeah, we know that his wife and kid were hit by that other helicopter, but that doesn't explain what those missile things were all about. And then 2. Why he didn't throw the grenade at the people in the lab and then get in that little tunnel thing. Overall 7.5/10 in my books, was a VERY good film, just ended a bit quickly and had a few loose ends. Oh and another thing, did the virus affect the whole world?
Fishy
I don't see how it was good at all? Is it based on a book?
Haz
Yeah, but apparently the book is a completely different, compelling read.Unlike the film, which is tripe.
