hi mate. has the bike been stood for any decent period of time?? i had a similar problem a while back. i started with freewheel, stripped it,cleaned and re-greased it. didnt solve the prob. took the axle out of the rear wheel and found the drive side of the hub had worn quite abit becoming an egg shape allowing the hub to move around. bought a new wheel and not had a prob since.

checked your chain for stiff links?

this happend to my t-bird it obvioulsy hadnt been kept well as there was loads of tight spots

in the chain so it could be that? i solved this by taking the chain off and coating it in lube and leaving it for a day

it worked... if thats any help

jake

you just put what i said into more words.. lol
