rudirudirudirudirudi
ok, went for my first ride with the bb7 today. i set it up so that the lever only had a few cm to move before it locked. was ok at first then i upped to front and it locked but wouldnt unlock. so the lever goes all floppy. to unlock it I had to push the pivet which turns the moving pad down. its asthought its getting caught on something. I cant work out what it is. any ideas? Edited December 19, 2007 by rudoxolty
Matthew_Gibson
The end of the cable may have came out the lever. Make sure you have done all the bolts up. also check that the pads are in correctly
rudirudirudirudirudi
well, it goes floppy then i like kick the wheel or pull down on the bit that twists to move the pad in ( the bit the end of the cable goes into) then its back to normal again. the cable doesnt come out or nowt. King C
My mates one did that. The problem was that he hit the moving arm on something and it kept catching on this little bolt head. All he (well I actually did it for him) did was set it up so the arm didnt return past the bolt.

King C
if you look on CRC then you can quite clearly see the bolt it could catch on.
