The Duck
It can do, I'd be very suprised if you could do it yourself though. Pretty sure tarty will be able to do it for you but you'll be waiting til mid/late february.
liam-pantera
you can do it yourself because i ahve done it , but tarty wont go near it i offered him 50 quid to build me one before and he didnt take it .
NileBrownâ„¢
you can do it yourself because i ahve done it , but tarty wont go near it i offered him 50 quid to build me one before and he didnt take it .I think thats because of the safety issues... because it may or may not be as strong as a conventional build you could potentially sue them if the worse came to the worse so I guess adam doesn't do them at all to prevent this. But more to the point, what person would sue adam? lol!
Mike W
Send the rim back and ask for a 36h.Life will be better.
Phatmike
Yeah, I did mine recently, as has been said - it can be done, but I wouldn't bother. You need a lot of different sized spokes, and it's just a right pain.Unless you can't get the hub/rim combo to match (as was the case with me), don't bother. Grant Hundley
i've done it about 4 times nowworks fine, just gotta have 4 longer spokes its a bit harder to get the rim perfectly tensioned though and mine always end up a bit egged, but when the rim is 36h its fine i wouldnt say its much weaker, if weaker at all? smoke257
Ahh its easy enoth to do, just skip some holes I ended up with a few longer spokes that stuck out, so i cut them down shorter tehe
