Mark W
Right. For some reason, the past month or two, I've just pretty much not been able to stop eating. I just feel a bit hungry pretty much all the time. I know that over the winter your body reverts into "saving" mode and you get hungry a lot so you can keep yourself warm by using up the energy from food and all that biz, but I've been less active than before and so theoretically I should be putting on weight (especially with the amount I'm eating), but if anything I'm losing weight.Anyone had similar before? I would go to the Drs and get it checked out, but I'm back to Wales for 3 weeks as of Sunday, so I'm screwed on that front...

Dr. Nick Riviera
Be creative. Instead of eating sandwiches with bread, use Pop-Tarts. Instead of chewing gum, chew bacon.
Mark W
I don't want to put on weight, 'cos MarkLite™ is cool, it's just that I can't afford to have to lash out like £30 a week on food Anyone got any suggestions for filling foods? I've found shit like baked beans in conjunction with pretty anything on God's green Earth seems to keep me feeling pretty full for a longer amount of time, but 16p tins of beans every 3 hours = stinkin'.Baked potatoes 'n' stuff? ilikeriding
Weetabix, 5 in a bowl, matched with 5 tablespoons of sugar Edited December 14, 2007 by jebend
Mark W
I usually tan back 4, but I get so f**king bored of eating Weetabix after about the 4th bowl or so I just don't buy it, then ages later think "Man, some 'bix would be cool as shit right now", then buy some, then repeat...I might just go and buy another loaf of Indian sweet bread. It's soooooooo good, haha.
Fishy
Rice and pasta fill me up like a bitch. And it's fairly cheap.
Mark W
Yeah, I go through about a kilo of wholewheat pasta every 3-4 days or so, I just don't really feel full afterwards for some reason Risotto on the other hand is pretty awesome, but pretty ingredient intensive. Heading back to Wales for 3 weeks though as I said, which is gonna be one 3 week long "Mum's cooking" eating binge, haha.

Mark W
Nah, not as far as I know. Like I still buy the same stuff I used to. I guess I don't really buy meat much more these days, but I only used to use it relatively sparingly anyway, so I wouldn't have thought it would've made a hell of a lot of difference. Dan6061
I'm about the same really...Earlier I ate a pretty big dinner, and was stuffed until about 5-10mins later when I was hungry again.
Revolver
i had thatevery time i ate, i think i blanked out the feeling of being full, so i'd only ever remember being hungrylmaoi just paid more attention, and it wentbut if you're wondering on a quick fix for hunger, look for these:its the Sainsbury's Sweet & Sour Battered Chicken 255g, and you want an egg rice to go withit tastes likereal takeaway, and feeds two, so it'll feed one me, and perhaps youanyway, i recommend it to anyone!not just cus i work at sainsbury's, either, cus i hate it. Mark W
I'm not worried about it (unless it's early symptoms of diabetes or some shit), it's just that I can't really afford to spend £30 a week just on stuff to eat, so if I can alter my diet to eat more filling, nutriotional produce that'd be the tits. hI-OOPS-CAPS
hm eat a handful of i think its almonds (the nuts)i think also every type of nut is good for your digestive system. not just 'oh vegetables are good for you' but a good beneficial role they do.if you get bloodtests done and theyre normal id say theres nothin to worry about, the doctors the place to be thoughah from that post i think the atkins diet works because when you eat meat it gives you a sense that your more full than you actually are Edited December 14, 2007 by moctezuma
Mark W
I'm becoming more and more gay vegetarian, so I don't really wanna go and eat half a cow just 'cos a doctor (who wasn't exaxctly the epitome of good health) worked out it may work well. But yeah, I remember watching a couple of documentaries/reading up on how the Atkins diet worked, and it was a sound concept. Just not really into it.
