My Ozonys... Nothing Great, Yet!

Small bump.

You sure about that weight? Just weighed my bike, the lightest I can get it is about 9,7kgs with DOB rims and twin Control brakes. The strange thing is, that most of the parts would then be much lighter than the ones you use on your Ozonys. Doesn't make sense to me. What inner tube do you use on the rear?

Hey

It was 9.2 kg in the original foto.. with vees (all ti bolts and ti brake posts) and with hope pro 2 and ti bolts. I broke the pro 2 and gone back to kings. Havent weighed it with the new hub and brakes yet. gotta sort it out soon and let u know. The tyres save the most weight. If yourrunning the same tires i cant imagine where else the weight is. My stem is about 150gms, errm cant think what else. running latex tubes (high quality ones!!)

Anyways i think itll end up around 9.5/7kg. going front and rear magura and cracked echo forks are being replaced with viz in the next few days :). other changes are kmc kool chain to go on and sick of 74kingz, so changing to rohloff. these will no doubt add some weight but the ozonys ride soo well and under 10 is stil a very good result i thinks.

cheers for the comments...

oh yeah.. noticed the stiff link. thechains givin me the shits anyhoo... rusting out like a barstard and not sure of the strength given the rust composition!
