vinny.p
Hello everyone my name is vinny and im from accrington in lancashire.I stopped riding trials about two years ago because i got to a stage where i didnt think i could get any better and id pretty much done everything in town so i quit (biggest mistake ever!!!!!). I used to ride a koxx marc cassio (26"you all probably knew that though lol) which i spent a lot of money on upgrading various parts and countless sets of tyres. Now im really regretting selling the beast so im getting another bike and was wondering which one you guys and girls think i should get.Gu typhoon 26" orAdamant a1 26"really sorry to blab on abit but any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks Vinny. mairomaster
They are almost the same...Take that one which you like more. If you like high bb GU will be probably more comfortable to you. If you like low bb - A1.
El Cristoff
Hello there, Personally i would recommend the A1, but hey, thats my personal choice, what bike do YOU want to ride?
Ravemonkey
Hi welcome back I would also personally recommend the A1But at the end of the day it comes down to personally preferenceGo to a few rides and try to get to have a ride on both then see which you like betterAnd selling your Koxx was a big mistake i agree my friend had one and they are nice bikes to ride
vinny.p
Thanks for all the replies its very helpful to me because ive been out of it for too long. As for which bike to get im still undecided i really like the look of the gu but i dont know how it will feel with such a high bb if anyone has ridden one or can tell me why its so high (advantages disadvantages) it would be greatly appreciated. Also im pretty tall (6foot1) so i was wondering if ill look stupid on a bike with such a high bb.Another thing i wanted to ask is can anyone recomend any parts on both bikes which could do with upgrading i.e. freewheel because i had a very nasty habit of chewing them to bits on the koxx untill i got a profile rear hub which i never had a problem with. Ill be getting either one from tartybikes if you want to have a look at the specs to help. Thanks again for the replies and just out of intrest i sold the koxx on ebay a while ago and was wondering if anyone on here may have bought it it was a koxx marc cassio sprayed matt black converted to single speed with a black profile rear hub matt black koxx forks gold try-all bars gold front wheel and very well used LOL. Im not bothered about seeing it again or anything i just wanted to know if it is still going.vinny.

vinny.p
Cheers dean. Whats the story behind getting verified im currently a member of the south west civics forum and there was none of this. To say that trials isnt restricted by rules and boundaries (unless your riding comps) i think this forum is very restricted but thats just my personal opinion. Ticker
You have to get manually validated on hear. Its to stop people that could be scammers and just plain jerks i think, and to stop the main forums being full of spam and pointless posts. As you may of noticed there are a few muppets in new members so its a good idea i think.
