eskimo
Jim Cs and Tendorizers about 6 months if they're unsealed. My new plastic ones arern't surviving very long. DX's are still going strong after a year. The Gusset's i gave up on after 1 day of riding. Cage pedals, i just get fed up with after shin death so ditch them every time. I've got a pair of V8s as well but haven't really used them much.

esfrost
I had my first wellgo mg-1 for 2 years when the left one died. I just bought a pair of new white wellgo mg1s. They work so well, cant really think about using anything else...
steve@banbury-trials
i've had several sets of vp pedal over the last 18months,one set the bearings went, the other had a cage snap and now theres the one that have a big dent in the end of them which im still running,so yeah i only change them when there buggered really.steve
basher
I change mine often because i cant find any decent ones. Ust to use caged ones yonks ago but found they mangled up easy. So went to platform pedals welgo ones. Found the pins just riped out and then tryed gusset slim jims and the grip was wank and same pins ripped out. So im back on caged as i was fed up of pins ripping out. I think ill probs stick with these for a while as there cheap and ill just use grinder to sharpen them up. Pashley26
I rode a cheap set of welgo's until the SNAPPED clean off, and i was meating up with a LAYDEEEEE i'd had my eye on for a long time that night....Lets just say i was out of action for a long time !I ALWAYS change them when the bearings go notchy or they spin MEGA freely.Make sure your next set of pedals are Dmr V12 Mags ! There amazingly grippy and obviously VERY light...Heres mine !Jarrod

Gavyn.
i've had mine for about 2 years which is a decent amount of time for them to have lasted
somberlaine
Had my V8'a for over 11 years now (that's right, 11). However it wouldnt' be fair to say that they are in good condition. When I ride you don't really notice how ruined the bearings are, but if you get off the bike and try to spin them, they spin like a hub with 6 tooth engagement..... JonMack
I dunno how old my VPs are but they're pretty f**ked. Gonna get some new ones sooner or later but for now, I'll stick with grindy bearings. I wish I could just pop them open and put some sealed ones in there instead.
