UrbanLegend
I would sell it. If the police come knocking asking for it... You could simply say it was stolen again Easy.
Pashley26
Dude, the police are obviously being twats becouse your a kid with a bike.f**k em' !There just being c**ts becouse they don't care about bikers, After the way they treated my bike when i got nicked it's quite clear that they don't care. If you want, get a mate to claim it. Then get him to give it back to you !Or just use your balls and sell it, then say you never had the bike ! MadManMike
Dude, the police are obviously being twats becouse your a kid with a bike.Pretty big "kid" Thanks for the advice guys, it seems by the votes the majority think I should save up and keep the frame just in case...I think I'll go with that to be on the safe side... Ash-Kennard
let it get stolen again? then dont claim it and get your insurance company to give you a new bike
Joe Sheehan!
Picked the last one.Base frames are as cheap as chips, just buy one and switch frames, means that if the police do come knocking you can switch back and steer clear of trouble, saves you losing hundreds of pounds worth of parts (wheels, bars, stem etc.)
Simpson
IMO opinion f**k them... its your bike your proppery and if the frame numbers match then its yours... sell it an if the cops come knocking stick a few fingers up at em and hope they use there common sence. If you didnt record your frame number and just assumed its your bike you cant sell it really
BenLeacock™
If your bike got stolen, then they have changed parts. Surely if they try to claim the bike they will get done for theft ? As in it wasnt there bike they originaly ''upgraded'' ? So its your bike, you were unlucky enough to have it nicked, you have then found it and been lucky and had it upgraded ? As soon as someone trys to claim it wont they get done for theft ? I hope that makes sence... I couldn't think how to write it ?
Pashley26
Thats prety clever !Except for the fact he can't prove it is his bike becouse it has been altered from the photos he has of it ! And his reciept is with the insurance people So he can't actually say it's HIS bike and THEY nicked it Jarrod
BenLeacock™
But if his bike has been stolen, hes reported it given a description ect. He then finds a bike, same spec with small alterations ! Abandoned etc ? surely it would all make sence to them ? O i would love to be a lawyer
