NileBrown™
The tapers f***ed up on my Echo Forged (ISIS). Spend more and get some better cranks. I've got Try-All ISIS now Yeah but they only get 'f**ked up' if you ride when the crank bolts come loose and that ruins the tapers. keep the bolts done up super tight and theres no problem at all. Which is the same as the square tapers... they're fine as long as their tight. I'll wait for you reply after your ban is finished
I_RIDE_ECHO!
Can you put a normal cheep freewheel on the cranks instead of the hub?? Or does it unscrew when you pedal?? And would it be a higher or lower gear if i run 12/16 ?? Cheers boys! All the help would be apreciatedCHIGS
Alex-Mitchinson
Do you mean 16/12, whereby you have a 16t freewheel on your cranks and a 12t sprocket on your hub?

monkeyseemonkeydo
Yeh sorry that's what i meant Would it be a harder or an easier gear??CHIGSHarder or easier than what? What were you previously running? If you had an 18T freewheel on the cranks before then going to a 16T will make the gearing a good bit lower (more spinny).
