Rojo
Hey,First of all i will tell you that i started trials biking simply as a porgression from my mountain biking and because when i was much younger i used to watch some guys and always wanted to try it!My main point was actually if it is not coursework style why not do it on something much easier and boring such as footbal / rugby / hockey as you will find it much easier to come up with reasons and therefore recieve the marks (and lets be honest thats what it is all for). What i was thinking was you have to remember whoever is marking it doesnt give a dam about what they are reading and simply want to give you the marks and unless done well (not saying that you cant) it will be harder to award marks! All of what i said is my opinion gathered from studying pe and standard grade and higher however if you do not agree then simply ignore me Hope that helps! lolRojo

Rojo
kk cheers mate ill try it on rugby but still wana hear reason though please Haha, nice one the reason is stated at the start of the post! but it was just because it was the obvious way for me to progress from mountain biking and when i was younger i used to watch some older guys and simply loved it and was determined to get involved since then...Rojo
Clownbike
well i have to write up about why people choose sports etc, i have chosen trials biking as my sport to write up against and well! tell me why you started, what made you wana start, imspirations etc.. thanksozzy(Y)What made me start: I originally started dirt jumping in the woods around my area. Then one day i saw an older lad doing a wheelie then attemping to back hop. I thought it looked pretty cool and i might pull some fanny by doing these tricks. With my trustworthy Marin Bobcat Trail (i think), i attempted some moves. Over time i just tried to immitate what that older kid did. Then i found out it was an actual sport by reading MBUK and i decided to get a proper trials bike. Inspirations: Martyn Ashton and Martin Hawyes. Adam L
I moved onto trials as i quit parkour. They both need dedication, determination and perseverance. For me its something to do, something to dedicate yourself to instead of roaming the streets or whatever, and it keeps you fit. Also I wanted to do something that was quite unheard of around my area. Adrian
i was amzingly impreesed when i saw two trialser on our local rocks down the beach, then i realised these guys went to my school so i started hangin around with them, and watching them all the time, then when one quit i bought his bike weeeeey and then started trials, rode with me and anotha mate for about 6 months then found forum, then started to try 'real trials' and got me a GU, the first person who used to 'inspire' us was joe baxter as he was the first decent person we saw a vid of lol, then it was some chineese bloke from auz cambera or summit... and then tunni obv lol but now damon ***!!!! hes the only stupidly good rider who is still improving and his style is immense, i like always watch his vids to learn stuff off now etc.... lol
