boon racoon
Basically, my Dad's school got an email from Thinkbikes the other day about organising demos/training sessions. Said i'd find out a bit more about it (from a riders P.O.V.) and see if it was worth doing / looking into.So yeah, anyone done or seen one? What goes on?Or anyone from thinkbikes want to come on and try and sell themselves to me?! Rusevelt
I dont specific details of this, but pretty sure that Spode and co are pretty flexible in making cost-effective arrangements for a training session where it be at their home training location (likelyhood to be the best cost effective option), or the team coming down to your old school and setting up some basic stuff to ride and learn from. pm spode and work something out. im pretty sure they cater everything at their training pad ie; food & drinks, dvd video of your progression and a discount off trials gear from thinkbikes. thats a pretty sound deal . spode@thinkbikes
Hey Boon,Add me to MSN and I'll let you in on all/any details you need - it's not something I'd want to do on an open forum. But most of it is laid out in black and grey on the website http://www.thinkbikes.com/bookinghttp://www.thinkbikes.com/trainingTraining wise, it's not particularly expensive to do, we teach to the level of the riders, using specific training rig. They get to ride all of our bikes, and get a 10% off voucher with Tarty Bikes. It's a great idea for anyone wanting to get into trials, and a good idea for anyone who wants to control their bike better. The last session we did, most people had jump bikes! This is obviously all insured, including CRB checks on trainers.Demo wise, we're competitively priced, you get 3 riders, 1200W PA, Insurance for up to £5 Million. Four 30 minute demos. As Ruse says, we are pretty flexible on things (as any business should be) and do offer a discount for choosing Demos + Training. We've done this a few times, training the audience in between performances. If you wanted a more independent view, Adam Bessel and Phil King have ridden the demos with us, so can give you an idea of things. Phil has done some of the training sessions too.And naturally, there's a £50 Tarty Bikes voucher for you Boon, if we get a booking from your Dad.
